The Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the China University of Geosciences of the People’s Republic of China under the framework of international cooperation, aimed at strengthening human resource development in the geology and mining sector, as well as promoting joint training and research activities.

Under the MoU, the two parties agreed to collaborate in training and capacity building of professionals in the geology and mining sectors, organizing short- and long-term training and internship programs, and expanding cooperation in areas such as mineral exploration, mining engineering, mining economics, and geological research and exploration.

Furthermore, the MoU provides opportunities for cooperation in integrating, processing, analyzing, and evaluating geological and mining data, as well as in developing integrated information systems.
