Division’s strategic purpose

Soil and water contaminated by mining activities and to perform analysis and testing of petroleum products, combustible minerals and their products at a high level of quality and quickly in accordance with Mongolian standards, and to draw conclusions thus develop recommendations and support the development of mineral sector development policy.

Division’s activity

  • Carry out analysis and testing to determine the chemical composition, structure, physical, mechanical and thermal properties of combustible minerals,
  • Processing of combustible minerals to produce value-added products, conducting experiments and research on environmentally friendly use,
  • Determine and monitor the quality level of exported coal and coal products,
  • Carry out analysis and testing to determine soil and water pollution in the mining environment,
  • Improve the quality control system for petroleum products.
