Our main activities

Within the framework of increasing the role of the Mineral and Petroleum sector in the Mongolia's economic development through the implementation of the State Policy on the development of the Mineral and Petroleum sector, intensify mineral and petroleum prospecting, exploration, discovery of new fields and increase reserves, mineral and oil production;

To increase the Petroleum sector's contribution to the country's social and economic development by implementing the State Policy on maintaining the stability of production and supply of petroleum products and providing consumers with products that meet quality and standard requirements;

Conduct research on creating a favourable investment climate in the Mining and Heavy Industry sectors, studying the demand, prospects of mining products, extracting, concentrating, deep processing,selling minerals using highly economically efficient and environmentally friendly techniques, technologies to make conclusions, develop recommendations, organize their implementation, support the development policies for the mining and processing industries;

To provide services related to exploration and mining licenses for ordinary and radioactive minerals, oil prospecting, exploration and contract areas in order to implement the Minerals Law, the Nuclear Energy Law and the Petroleum Law.
