The Government of Mongolia represented by the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia, acting in accordance with the Law on Petroleum and by order A/198 of the Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry, on May 24^th of 2023 announcing third trench for Open International Tender to obtain the License for use of Petroleum Resources on Exploration Blocks III (Sharga), VII (Borzon).

The period for accepting bids to participate in an Open Tender shall be up to 60 days, and Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia shall announce the deadline for closing the Tender within five days upon receiving the first bid for the exploration blocks. Interested bidders are invited to participate in an Open Tender. 

All applicants shall prepare Bid Documents in compliance to Annexes I, II, III, IV of Regulation for Bid Evaluation Procedures approved by the Minister of Mining (Order No.202, 2014), and to submit bid documents to Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia according to Article 20.2 of Petroleum Law of Mongolia.

The application fee for the bid documents and data package fee will be paid to Account No: 106000079846 USD, (Account No: 100900018008 MNT with exchange rate of Mongol Bank at the day of transfer), Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia (SWIFT CODE: STBMMNUB), State Bank of Mongolia.
